This goal may be impossible. But I tend think it just requires a lot more hard work and diligence. When working on this goal for my 30 by 30 list, I got as low as 214 before I started working again and lost my routine. It is time to buckle down and change my eating habits.
The last time I was under 200 pounds was my first semester in college. After that I steadily gained weight until I hit an all time high for me of 236 pounds in grad school. My body mass index says that my healthy weight range should top of at 178 pounds.
I have very broad shoulders and dense bones. So while I’ve been told by my doctor 178 pounds might be unrealistic, getting under 200 pounds is certainly not. I have been close before getting as low as 204 pounds about six years ago by counting calories. I think with proper nutrition and more exercise, I can make it. I need to make it.
